The Challenge

Generator Live, hosted by Generator in collaboration with BBC Music Introducing, takes place in Newcastle upon Tyne. The festival features a dynamic conference filled with inspiring panels, interactive sessions, and insightful talks designed for artists and creatives looking to break into and sustain careers in the music industry. The event culminates in a showcase celebrating the best emerging talent from the North East.

However, Generator Live struggled with its branding, reinventing its identity year after year without finding a design that truly resonated. They wanted a brand that felt timeless—one that could grow alongside the festival, expand into new regions, and, most importantly, capture the attention of their audience. They approached me to craft a bold, enduring identity that would not only elevate their presence but also make a lasting impact.
